Further Election Coverage on Broadcast Channel HD2

Posted on · Additional election information from NPR and KUHF is offered on HD2 leading up to the candidates accepting their nominations. Tune in each evening at 7pm on September 2nd and 3rd for coverage of the Republican convention. Each evening will feature the key speeches of the day, interviews from the convention and analysis from NPR's Ron Elving, Ken Rudin and Mara Liasson.  All of KUHF's election coverage can also be heard on the KUHF News online stream.

Special Coverage of Gustav

Posted on · Hurricane Gustav is moving over the Louisiana coast this morning as a category 3 storm. The National Hurricane Center reports the top sustained winds are near 115 mph. KUHF-Houston Public Radio reporters are on the scene in Beaumont where emergency management officials are gathered and in Huntsville where some residents are waiting out the storm. You can listen to the 6am, 7am and 8am newscasts.

School Closures
