Don Geraci

Director of Content

As Director of Content, Don Geraci oversees non-news content production on television, radio and digital platforms. Under his leadership, producers create series and specials highlighting the arts, politics, education, and entertainment – all sharing a common goal to engage and enlighten audiences. A hallmark of his tenure has been collaboration across the organization: developing new ways to tell stories across multiple platforms, and new models to sustain funding.

Prior to his work with Houston Public Media, Don produced and then served as EP for Great Day Houston, a daily variety show on the CBS affiliate in Houston. Don graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Radio-Television-Film. He lived in Philadelphia for several years and his work for a production company there took him around the globe. Don’s work has won several regional Emmy awards. He values partnerships with creative thinkers outside of the organization, and enjoys the challenges of the ever-changing media landscape.
