Houstonians Marching For Justice Put Highway 288 At A Standstill

Posted on July 19, 2013 · Hundreds of Houstonians united together at the Rodney F. Byrd Funeral Home in Third Ward to protest against the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin trial. For more than 20 minutes, marchers protested on Highway 288 near the Southmore exit forced drivers to wait.
