Weâve all come across something that belonged to someone else â whether itâs as simple as a grocery list left in a shopping cart or as personal as a letter intended for a boyfriend. These âfoundâ items give us at least a momentâs glimpse inside the life of a stranger, the results of which can be anywhere from trivial to hilarious and from inane to heartbreaking.
And at least three different artistic groups have hung their creative hats on the power of found objects: Found Magazine, Found Footage Festival and AV Geeks. Houston Mattersâ Michael Hagerty tells us about Found Fiesta — an event that brings all three to Houston, Monday, Jan. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at Saint Arnold Brewery.
