Rapper Nelly will take the RodeoHouston stage with artist and Houston native Bun B at the NRG Stadium March 12.

Bun B Friday announced Nelly as the first performer who will join him on his All-American Takeover at RodeoHouston’s Livestock Show and Rodeo next month.

It’ll be the Texas born rapper’s first performance at RodeoHouston.

Bun B is known to invite performers to join him on stage for his long-anticipated rodeo shows, according to RodeoHouston. He’s brought musical performers like Scarface, Erykah Badu and Louisiana rappers Juvenile and Mannie Fresh on stage with him in past lineups.

Bun B is still expected to announce more performing acts for his All-American Takeover in March, and the Houston artist said on social media this year’s rodeo performance will be bigger and more diverse than ever.

The 2024 RodeoHouston concert lineup was released Jan. 11, announcing a slate of headlining artists like Jonas Brothers, Luke Bryan, Nickelback and Major Lazer.

Tickets for the Livestock Show and Rodeo went on sale Jan. 18 with prices ranging from $25 up to $400 for higher-end seats.
