The Jewish Book & Arts Festival is in full swing at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center, having already featured noted comedy writer Nell Scovell and the Houston premiere of the documentary Love, Gilda about former Saturday Night Live cast member Gilda Radner.

This weekend, the festival continues with noted guests like author Ben Reiter, who predicted the Houston Astros’ World Series win in 2017; local bookbinder Deborah Karchmer, who talks about her experiences repairing, restoring, and creating books; and numerous others.

In the audio above, hear my chat with Festival Co-Chair John Dreyfus about the upcoming events up through the festival’s closing night on Monday, November 13th.
