In this episode of Encore Houston, we go back nearly twelve years to the final concert of the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra‘s inaugural season. Performances include works by two of the early twentieth century’s most prominent French composers, a “finger-lickin’ good” symphony by Haydn, and songs of nature by contemporary composer Derek Bermel, with special guest soloist Timothy Jones.
