Mercury Chamber Orchestra is the featured group on this episode of Encore Houston, with a concert of works by the “Red Priest,” Antonio Vivaldi. Vivaldi is probably best known for his set of violin concertos called The Four Seasons, but his musical output is full of so much more including some Baroque motets and his famous setting of the Gloria as featured in this concert.
