On our latest episode of Encore Houston, we delve into the adventures of Don Quixote! This famous knight, known for his steadfast ineptitude, is from Miguel de Cervantes’ 17th century work El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha. This concert by Ars Lyrica Houston presents the Don’s story through a few unrelated pieces, but also some selections specifically inspired by his shenanigans, with soprano Dominique McCormick as special guest soloist.
