Alfredo Vetencourt grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to Houston two years ago. He talks about how Houston’s diverse food scene helped him break out of his comfort zone, about relying on the vibrant community of Venezuelans here, and about what keeps him in the Bayou City.
