Video game music is about to take over Jones Hall. The Houston Symphony is hosting Video Games Live on Friday (July 14, 2017). Just as the name implies, this concert will feature music and video footage from favorites such as The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros.

Tommy Tallarico is the brainchild of the show. He's been a video game composer for nearly 30 years and started Video Games Live 12 years ago.

Houston Matters producer Maggie Martin talks with Tallarico about what inspired him to create the concert tour.
