On this week’s episode of Encore Houston, Ars Lyrica performs one of the very first song cycles, a ghastly piano trio, a melodrama about a man who falls in love with his own sculpture, and a French violin concerto inspired by the Italian style. Baritone Thomas Meglioranza and violinist Adam Lamotte are the featured soloists in this concert titled Classical Spectres.
