Philip Kerr

Philip Kerr is the creator of Bernie Gunther, a detective trying to solve crimes in Nazi Germany – where, as the Gunther often remarks, the biggest criminal is the state itself. He's just published the twelfth novel in the series, Prussian Blue. Kerr will be in Houston tonight, April 7, speaking at Murder by the Book. He stopped by Houston Public Media's studios first to speak with Andrew Schneider.
