A "big fan" of the former Music Director of the Houston Symphony, Dr. Weber is collaborating for the first time with Maestro Eschenbach in her role as Houston Symphony Chorus Director as they prepare for this weekend's concerts, which will feature the orchestra, chorus and soloists in Bruckner's Te Deum.

Dr. Weber sat down with me to talk about her love of Bruckner's Te Deum, preparing the chorus, and why she admires – and is looking forward to working with – Christoph Eschenbach.

The Houston Symphony, Chorus and soloists present Eschenbach conducts Bruckner – a program featuring Bruckner's Te Deum and Symphony No. 1, conducted by Christoph Eschenbach – on Friday, March 3, 8pm; Saturday, March 4, 8pm and Sunday, March 5, 2:30pm at Jones Hall.
