On this episode of Encore Houston, soprano Ana María Martínez joins Aperio, Music of the Americas for their 10th Anniversary concert! True to their name, Aperio presents an evening of music from South and Central America, featuring traditional music with a touch of Bach, a mixture of jazz and classical styles from Cuba, and songs from the Spanish zarzeulas of the early twentieth century.
