Backstage with Andrés is a series of conversations with Houston Symphony Music Director Andrés Orozco-Estrada, recorded behind-the-scenes at Jones Hall.

Maestro Orozco-Estrada chats with Catherine Lu about the Houston Symphony's upcoming program, Andrés Conducts West Side Story – a program that features not only the orchestra performing the Symphonic Dances from Bernstein's “West Side Story" but also Principal Double Bassist, Robin Kesselman, as the soloist in a virtuosic gem – Serge Koussevitzky's "Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra."

The Houston Symphony presents this program, Andrés Conducts West Side Story, including works by Bernstein, Piazzolla, Revueltas and Koussevitzky, on Thursday, February 2, 8pm and Friday, February 3, 8pm at Jones Hall.
