The documentary Deli Man tells the story of the American delicatessen, largely through a Houston guide – Ziggy Gruber, a third-generation deli man, and the owner and operator of Kenny and Ziggy's New York Delicatessen.

In February 2015, Craig Cohen sat down with Ziggy Gruber at Kenny & Ziggy's to talk about the state of traditional delis here in Houston and across the country.

Craig began by asking him how he and his family got into the deli business.
