Backstage with Andrés is a series of conversations with Houston Symphony Music Director Andrés Orozco-Estrada, recorded behind-the-scenes at Jones Hall.

Maestro Orozco-Estrada chats with Catherine Lu about the Houston Symphony's upcoming performances with the young Russian piano virtuoso, Daniil Trifonov, recently named Gramophone “Artist of the Year” 2016. Daniil Trifonov will be the soloist with orchestra in Robert Schumann's passionate and poetic Piano Concerto.

The Houston Symphony presents the program, Trifonov Plus Rachmaninoff, on Thursday, November 3, 8pm; Saturday, November 5, 8pm; and Sunday, November 6, 2:30pm at Jones Hall.
