One of the top organists in the country, Ken Cowan is a world-class artist who has made Houston his home.

A native of Thorold, Ontario, Canada, Ken Cowan received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and his Master's degree and Artist Diploma from the Yale School of Music/Institute of Sacred Music. Since 2012, he has been an Associate Professor and Head of the Organ Department at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music in Houston.

In this interview with Houston Public Media's Catherine Lu, Ken Cowan chats about his life as an organist and his upcoming concert at Trinity Lutheran Church.
