Be on the listen for Houston Music Highlights, Tuesday through Friday on Classical 91.7! These 6-minute highlights feature local musicians and ensembles such as the Houston Symphony, the Apollo Chamber Players, and numerous others each week. Houston Music Highlights air at 7 a.m., and then repeat at 1 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m.

This week, we feature wind quintet arrangements of Bernstein's most famous musical, Latin American-inspired music from the St. Cecilia Chamber Music Society, some brassy British tunes, and new music from an up-and-coming organization formed by young, local musicians.
