Virtual reality headsets are said to be among the hottest technology gifts this holiday season. But the technology has taken a while to evolve – and isn’t ubiquitous like maybe we all thought it would be 15 or 20 years ago.

Zach Jankovic is a local documentary filmmaker who's working on a film called VR: The Movie that'll explore the history and development of virtual reality technology.

Maggie Martin talks with him about what he's learned making the film and how the technology is being used to treat PTSD.
