New Season Of Houston Symphony Broadcasts Begins On Classical 91.7

Tune in Wednesday evening for a preview of the orchestra’s 2015-16 season.

The Houston Symphony's 2015-16 season begins Saturday, September 12th, when superstar violinist Joshua Bell joins the orchestra and music director Andrés Orozco-Estrada for Opening Night.

Tune in to Classical 91.7 Wednesday evening at 8 when Houston Public Media's St.John Flynn sits down with Aurelie Desmarais, the Houston Symphony's Chief of Artistic Planning, to talk about some of the highlights of the upcoming Jones Hall season and to share performances of some of the music included in this season's concerts.

After this week's season preview, the Houston Symphony broadcasts will continue every Wednesday at 8PM on Classical 91.7 hosted by St.John Flynn and featuring performances from this season and last recorded in Jones Hall by Houston Public Media's senior recording engineer Brad Sayles.
