This coming Sunday afternoon from noon to 4PM, Theater District Houston hosts the 22nd annual Theater District Open House downtown. The event, which traditionally marks the official launch of the new performing arts season, takes place at various venues including the Alley Theatre, the Hobby Center, the Wortham Center, Jones Hall and Revention Music Center (formerly Bayou Music Center).

As in previous years, the Open House features free performances and activities encompassing dance, music and theater, as well as behind-the-scenes experiences and backstage tours. Those attending will also be able to get great deals on subscription packages and single tickets to the ten organizations that make up the Theater District: Alley Theatre; Revention Music Center; Broadway at the Hobby Center; Da Camera of Houston; Houston Ballet; Houston Grand Opera; Houston Symphony; Society for the Performing Arts; Theatre Under The Stars; and the Uniquely Houston series.
