Now, you may have noticed there are more sculptures: an over-sized lamp with an owl perched atop, a distorted blue blob that looks vaguely like the head of a bunny and an over-sized metal sock monkey. Theyâre all part of the exhibitionâs sequel, called True South.
Houston Public Mediaâs Ernie Manouse visited Heights Boulevard to talk with the exhibitâs co-curator, Chris Silkwood, about this yearâs sculptures and how the exhibits their start.
True South is on display through the middle of December on the Heights Boulevard esplanade. And you can you learn more about the exhibit on Arts InSight, on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. on Houston Public Media, TV 8.
