An hour of great performances from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston!

Johannes Brahms trans. Merlin Patterson: Academic Festival Overture

Performed by the Moores School of Music Wind Ensemble led by conductor David Bertman. This performance was given on December 7th, 2012 in the Moores Opera House.

Dmitri Shostakovich: Quintet in G Minor

Performed by violinists Yung-Hsian Wang and Micah Ringham, violist Ivo-Jan van der Werff, cellist Norman Fischer, and pianist Robert Moeling. The was performed in Duncan Recital Hall on December 5th, 2011.

Erich Korngold: Violin Concerto, III. Allegro assai vivace

Performed by violinist Yi Zhao and the Shepherd School Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Larry Rachleff. This was performed on October 4th, 2013 in Stude Concert Hall.
