Comicpalooza began as a modest convention in a movie theater. Seven years later, it's the state's largest comic and pop culture convention.

Houston Matters' Maggie Martin sat down with John Simons, Chairman of Comicpalooza, and Richard Evans, owner of Bedrock City Comic Company.

Simons tells Houston Matters the convention has come a long way since its humble beginnings in July of 2008 when the Dark Knight movie premiered.
