Whether you realize it or not, you’ve probably seen the artwork of Wiley Robertson. If you’ve seen the word “love” on a mural on the side of a building, or seen a colorful painting on a vertical panel nailed to a telephone pole, then you’ve seen the work of the Houston-based street artist, who’s made it his mission to spread positivity through his art.

As a result, he’s started painting the word “love” on everything from warehouses to signs along the freeway.

Robertson recently told Houston Public Media’s Arts InSight about the origins of the project, how he goes about creating his art, and why he feels street art is an important element to any city

You can see more of Wiley Robertson’s work on Arts InSight, Thursday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m. on Houston Public Media, TV 8.
