Houston Public Media TV 8 Awarded Lone Star Emmys

Arts and culture programming honored at awards show.

In September, the Lone Star Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) honored Houston Public Media TV 8 with nine nominations in eight categories for the 2014 Lone Star Emmys honoring broadcast excellence in Texas.

The winners were announced on Saturday, October 25 at the 12th Annual Lone Star Emmy Awards banquet in Houston where Houston Public Media took home two Lone Star Emmys.
