VIDEO: A Multimedia Art Festival At The Buffalo Bayou Silos

“Silos II: Inter/action” was part of the East End “Transported + Renewed” project.

Silos II: Inter/action” is part two in a series of three multimedia events centered around the Buffalo Bayou Silos located in Houston’s East End neighborhood.

The events are part of the Houston Arts Alliance’s “Transported + Renewed” project, celebrating Houston’s historic transport hub and the East End area near the Houston Ship Channel.

“Silos: II” featured visual artist Allison Hunter’s video installation “Inter/action,” which transformed the Buffalo Bayou Silos into gigantic mutant bee hives; street artists Anat Ronen, Royal, Clear1, Lady Binx and Lee Carrier; hoop and LED performers Agent Cilantro, Alie Rose and MX Tr3y; and freestyle bike stunts from HTX Bike Fest, The Byke Project and Black Gold Cycling. The event also featured craft cocktails from the East End bar Voodoo Queen and food by Ladybird, The Modular and MoonRooster.
