More than just a “Sabre Dance” composer… Tune in this weekend to hear Aram Khachaturian’s film scores to the Russian films Othello and Battle of Stalingrad. Though Western audiences may not know him well as a film score composer, in Russia, he was very popular, especially when he arranged the scores for bands, vocal ensembles, and piano reductions.
