Drones have been used most notably for military purposes, but thanks to a few creative minds, drones are being used in a host of other ways. Amazon.com has a forthcoming drone delivery system and sports stadiums are using them to find that perfect replay shot.

Here in Houston, photographer Peter Molick is using a drone to capture aerial images. His project is called “Houston Crossings,” and he take aerial shots looking directly down at many Houston intersections to provide a fresh perspective on a common Houston image.

You can learn more about Peter Molick’s drone photography on Arts InSight — Thursday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. on Houston Public Media, TV 8.
