The Fischer Duo, Norman Fischer (cello) and Jeanne Kierman (piano), celebrate National Chamber Music Month with a performance in the Geary Studio. Fischer and Kierman are accomplished and acclaimed chamber musicians, having performed together for over 40 years. Both teach at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music.
In this video, Fischer and Kierman perform the first movement from Beethoven’s Sonata in D Major, Op. 102, No. 2 (1815). The piece appears on their recently released four-disc CD “Beethoven: Cello and Piano Complete” (Centaur Records).
