This weekend the Houston Art Car Parade will celebrate its 27th year in existence. It is one of the nation's largest displays of cars that have been transformed into pieces of art, and from its early origins has been a way for artists to showcase their talents. Many of the prize winning cars from previous years find their way to the Art Car Museum, a small artist's haven on Heights Boulevard. In the lead up to the parade, Houston Matters Edel Howlin, went to take a tour of the museum to get in the art car spirit.
