“Dashavatar: The Ten Incarnations of Vishnu” is a traditional Indian dance/theater production telling the story of the god Vishnu’s many incarnations through time as he fights evil. Members of Houston’s Samskriti Indian Performing Arts group talk about the production and the value of preserving their ancient art form. The group performed April 6 at the Wortham Center’s Cullen Theater and was recently featured on Houston Matters.
