We learn about the Museum of Fine Art Houston’s new exhibit John Singer Sargent: The Watercolors, which offers a rare collection of 100 watercolors by Gilded Age American master John Singer Sargent.

Sargent’s was renowned for his mastery of the watercolor medium and for his avant garde way of framing subjects.

The exhibit runs through May 26 at the MFAH.
