Houston's early beginnings would be closely associated with the Allen brothers, who founded the city, or John Richardson Harris, the man responsible for the name, Harris County. These are the names you see in and around the city, men who played a major part in founding the Houston we know and love today.

If you scratch just a little deeper you'll find some Irish names there too. So in honor of St. Patrick's Day and the fact that we have an Irish producer, we sent Edel Howlin on the hunt for the Irish influence on the Bayou City.
