MFAH: The Age of Impressionism

Helga Aurisch, curator of European Art for the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, takes Houston Public Media's Troy Schulze on a tour of the exhibition "The Age of Impressionism," on view through March 23, 2014.

“The Age of Impressionism: Great French Paintings from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute” is comprised of more than 70 works by artists including Edgar Degas, Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Helga Aurisch, the MFAH’s curator of European art, discusses some of the highlights of the exhibition, particularly works by Renoir and Monet.
