If youâre into making things or tinkering with gadgets, you might not always have access to all the tools and equipment you might need â whether itâs expensive welding equipment or a 3D printer. Thatâs where the phenomenon of âmakerspacesâ comes in. Makerspaces are essentially communal workshops where members of the collective share the costs and use of tools and equipment â and teach each other. Artists can even share the space to create works ranging from sculptures to art cars.
