Der Rosenkavalier on The Front Row (video)

In the first video, singers from the Moores Opera Center at the University of Houston perform the Presentation of the Rose duet from Act II of Richard Strauss's "Der Rosenkavalier". Mary Brooke Quarles sings the role of Octavian; Ashly Neumann is Sophie. 

In the second video, Cynthia Clayton (The Marschallin), Mary Brooke Quarles (Octavian) and Julia Engel (Sophie) sing the final trio from Act III of Richard Strauss's "Der Rosenkavalier".

Katherine Ciscon plays the piano for both pieces, and both performances took place in Houston Public Media's Geary Performance Studio in a segment recorded for the daily arts show The Front Row.
