KUHF’s Catherine Lu chats with violinist Rebecca Fischer, violist Jonah Sirota and Peruvian-American composer Gabriela Lena Frank, whose new piece, Milagros, was commissioned by the Chiara String Quartet. The ensemble performs the work, alongside quartets by Beethoven and Brahms, tonight at 8pm at Rice University’s Stude Concert Hall.
