The Front Row – International Festival-Institute at Round Top

To get us in the mood for this weekend’s chamber music recitals on Festival Hill, we feature two chamber performances, recorded live in concert, from the 2009 summer institute.

Faculty-clarinetist Kenneth Grant, pianist Hsiao-Ling Lin and a student string quartet perform the Overture on Hebrew Themes by Sergei Prokofiev.    We also feature pianist-mentor Eteri Anjaparidze and pianist-apprentice Giorgi Mikadze in a concert performance of Anton Arensky’s Suite No. 1 for Two Pianos.   Recorded June 13, 2009 at the 39th-Annual International Festival Institute at Round Top, Texas.
