The Galveston Historical Society presents Adoration of the Earth, the second of this summer’s three Restoration Chamber Music recitals. Our guests, series founder, Evan Leslie, cello … Co-Artistic Director, Evelyn Chen, piano … and Houston Symphony flutist, Judy Dines … are joined by four more of their professional colleagues from the Symphony and the Moores School of Music faculty to perform works by Corelli, Stravinsky, Granados, Couperin and Debussy this evening in the Garten Verein, the 130-year-old former dance pavilion located in what is now Kempner Park on Avenue O in Galveston.
