Violinist Eugene Drucker, a member of the Emerson String Quartet, talks with St. John Flynn by phone from his home in New York. The Emersons conclude the Houston Friends of Chamber Music’s 50th Anniversary Season with a program of works by Czech composers, Antonín Dvorák and Leos Janácek tomorrow night in Stude Concert Hall on the Rice University campus.  Listen Download

Dancer-choreographer, Jacqueline Anne Nalett, is a member of the adjunct faculty of the Dance Division of the University of Houston’s School of Theatre and Dance; guest choreographers, Jennifer Sommers and Erin Reck, are both serving as resident artists this year in the U-H Dance Program. They speak with KUHF’s Catherine Lu about the pieces each of them has contributed to Propulsion, a program of new, original contemporary dance works that also includes pieces by Dance Division faculty members, Becky Valls, Teresa Chapman and Toni Leago Valle.  Listen Download
