Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston’s Hermann Park opens its 2010 season with folk-singer-songwriter, Arlo Guthrie, his children and grandchildren, and their traveling show, The Guthrie Family Rides Again. Performance time is 8:00PM tonight; admission to all Miller Theatre events is free; tickets for the reserved seats inside the pavilion are being dispensed at the Theatre box office from now until 1:00PM.   Listen Download

Pianist Jasmine Hatem presents a Faculty Recital, with Guest Artists, tonight at the University of Saint Thomas.  The concert begins at 7:30 this evening in Cullen Recital Hall on the U-S-T campus. Admission is free. Ms. Hatem will be joined by Houston Symphony musicians Judy Dines, flute, and Jeff Robinson, bassoon, both of whom we hear in this studio segment which is hosted by St. John Flynn. Kevin Holden directs the Horse Head Theatre Company’s production of Stephen Belber’s drama, Fault Lines … and actors Drake Simpson, Philip Lehl and Ivy Castle-Rush make up most of the play’s cast. They speak with Bob Stevenson. Live music is provided before, during and after the performances of Fault Lines by Plump. The final shows are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00PM at the Brewery Tap.  Listen Download
