KUHF’s Bob Stevenson speaks with poet, novelist and literary biographer, Jay Parini, professor at Middlebury College in Vermont, and author of The Last Station, a fictionalized account of the last year in the life of the great Russian writer, Leo Tolstoy. The biographical novel has been reissued in paperback by Anchor Books, twenty years after its original publication, to tie in with the release of a film adaptation, scripted and directed by Michael Hoffman. The movie is currently playing in theaters around the country, including the Landmark River Oaks Three on West Gray.  Listen Download
