The River Oaks Chamber Orchestra presents its 2010 Conductorless! concert, featuring music of Gordon Jacob, Chen Yi, Bach and Beethoven, and … as guest soloist … the rising young American piano virtuosa, Simone Dinnerstein. Musicians associated with the concert gather in the KUHF’s Geary Performance Studio for a preview session hosted by Catherine Lu.  Listen Download

World-renowned string virtuoso, Cho-Liang Lin, Professor of Violin at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, presents the regional premiere of a work which he co-commissioned and which was written specifically for him, Tangos Concertantes, by Argentinean-American film, T-V and concert-music composer, Lalo Schifrin. Mister Lin talks abou the piece with Catherine Lu.  Listen Download
