Eric Beach and Adam Sliwinski, members of the Brooklyn-based contemporary ensemble, So Percussion, speak with Houston Public Radio’s Meghan Hendley. Mr. Beach and Mr. Sliwinski … along with their colleagues, Josh Quillen and Jason Treuting … evoke the modern urban environment in their multi-media piece, Imaginary City, with video images by Jenise Treuting. So Percussion presents the work in its Houston premiere tomorrow night and Saturday at 8:00PM at DiverseWorks.  Listen Download  Extended Interview

Jan Searson McSwain is the cast member who plays “Tami Whyknot” in the Pandora Theatre Company’s original revue, Vox Feminina: The Feminine Voice. She shares the stage with fifteen other performers, including our other guests, actress Abby Esparza and Pandora Theatre co-founders, Melissa Mumper and Nicole Lawson Chelly. Ms. Chelly is the company’s Artistic Director and produced Vox Feminina, which has two more performances, tomorrow night and Saturday at 8:00PM at the Midtown Arts Center.  Listen Download
