KUHF’s Dean Dalton speaks with Maestro Christopher Warren-Green, Music Director of the London Chamber Orchestra, who will conduct the quartet of vocal soloists, Orchestra and Chorus in this year’s Houston Symphony performances of George Frideric Handel’s oratorio, Messiah. The concerts are Friday and Saturday night at 8:00PM and Sunday afternoon at 2:30PM at Jones Hall. Listen Download

Houston’s Episcopal Church of Saint John the Divine presents A Christmas Concert featuring The Three Sopranos: Nancy Curtis, Ana Treviño-Godfrey, and Leigh Shipman. The performance — in the form of a sacred and secular Festival of Lessons and Carols — takes place this evening at 7:00PM. There’s no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be accepted.
