The Choir of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston presents In Memoria: A Sacred Concert of Remembrance in Honor of the Year for Priests. Director Rick Lopez leads the Choir’s sixty singers in Franz Biebl’s Ave Maria … pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Rutter and Tavener … and the complete Lux Aeterna by Morten Lauridsen. The performance is Sunday afternoon at 3:00PM in the new Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Houston.  About half of the choir gather in KUHF’s Geary Performance Studio to share some of their music with us in a session hosted by TFR host St. John Flynn.
