Morris, and two of members of her acting company talk about Seven Guitars, this year's offering of one of the "Pittsburgh Plays" by the late August Wilson…

Eileen J. Morris is the Artistic Director of Houston’s Ensemble Theatre; she stage-directed the company’s season-opening production of Seven Guitars, the “Pittsburgh Play” by August Wilson set in the 1940’s. Cast members Bebe Wilson and Byron Jacquet play Louise and Red, two of the seven characters — the “Guitars” of the play’s title.  They speak with TFR producer, Bob Stevenson. Grace Song Inc., presents Houston’s 3rd Annual Concert for Peace, an evening of song, music and poetry, Saturday at 7:30PM at Saint Philip Presbyterian Church. Artistic Director Keith Weber and singers associated with the concert gather in KUHF’s Geary Performance Studio for a preview hosted by TFR Host St. John Flynn. Listen Download

The Hellenic Cultural Center of the Southwest, in partnership with Houston Baptist University, presents Trojan Women by Euripides, in the new international touring production by director Leonidas Loizides and his Athens-based company, The Theatre Scheme. The drama is performed in Greek and English with English super-titles, and is accompanied by music by Greece’s foremost contemporary composer, Mikis Theodorakis. There is one performance only, tomorrow evening at 7:30PM in Dunham Theater on the HBU campus.
